I just got back from a week trip back to Vancouver, where everything is very chill and slow paced. It's still nice to see friends and eating all the good food.
I had originally thought that I would not find anything I'd want to buy, but I was wrong. While searching for the new Louis Vuitton Monogramfallage scarf by Murakami, I found the original part cashmere, part silk Leopard scarf by Stephen Sprouse. The moment I saw it I knew I had to get it--I'd been looking for this scarf for quite a while, and it is sold out practically EVERYWHERE (and I refuse to buy it on eBay).

While walking around Holt Renfrew (Canada's equivalent of Barneys New York or Saks Fifth Avenue, but with much fewer brands.) Like most of the things sold in Vancouver, just about everything sold there is crap. Nevertheless, I did find another item that I absolutely had to get: haha YES! Another pair of
Lanvin, this time it's a pair of part suede, part nylon low-tops with straps and laser etched on the patent leather toe and heel.

Overall, I must say that Canadian fashion (in Vancouver anyway) is pretty lame. Ever since I can remember, girls are dressed in head-to-toe TNA while guys are decked out in Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier. From what I heard, several nightclubs have banned partygoers from stepping in wearing such tacky clothes (due to fears of being identified as gangsters). That's probably the best rule anyone has ever come up with.
